The CIP is dedicated to:
Our mission is to create a lasting impact on the construction industry by advocating for fair business practices, promoting training, safety and professionalism on the work site, and recruiting quality candidates for a career in construction.
Our vision is for the state of Indiana to be a model of construction industry practices and professionals.
To successfully implement the CIP mission, everything we do reflects our culture that is driven by our core values. These values are important to our organization because we believe they are the minimum standard for members of the construction industry. The members of the Construction Industry Partnership each subscribe to the core values listed below.
Integrity is at the heart of everything we do. Operating with honesty and moral uprightness is imperative to creating an industry that will demand nothing less.
The safety of carpenters, other tradespeople, or staff (in occupied spaces) on a job as well as the safety of end users is of utmost importance. By adhering to the highest possible safety guidelines and requiring ongoing education and training, we minimize risk and potential accidents.
Our carpenters are rigorously trained and tested in the latest techniques, equipment, and safety protocol, ensuring that every job is completed efficiently and right the first time.
The employees of the CIP partners are professionals who invest in their trades and careers by participating in continuing education and training programs. They take pride in the part they play in building Indiana’s infrastructure.
CIP carpenters and millwrights strive to work to the highest possible level of quality, not cutting corners or compromising workmanship.
By working together, the members of the CIP know that we can create positive change to the Indiana state construction industry — the kind of change that could never be made operating alone.
